Gratitude Get To’s: A simple practice

A simple way to practice gratitude I learned involves simply turning your to-do list into A “I GET TO DO” list. There is no running for your journal or waiting for a specific time of day. When you feel rushed, overwhelmed or bored even simply in real time replace your “I have to” with an “I get to”.

That is it.

What are the sensations and where? Is there thinking in this sensation?

Do you feel a recognition of privilege? A recognition of loss? Fear?

A heartachey kind of sad maybe, accompanied by fear?

Privacy & Confidentiality

All aspects of your treatment are confidential within the practice. Important exceptions include if there is risk that you might do harm to yourself or someone else. We are mandated reporters for child abuse.

Insurance

An invoice will be provided for you to submit to your insurance company. Please contact your insurnce company to find out if you are eligible for out-of-network benefits and telehealth services (online counseling services). Therapy is a deductible expense for your HSA or Flex Spending Accounts.

Privacy & Confidentiality

All aspects of your treatment and consultation are confidential and treated with respect. Important exceptions include if there is a risk that you might do yourself or others harm that is not adequately addressed during session to ensure safety. All counselors are mandated reporters for child abuse and neglect.

 

Payment

Credit cards, HSA or Flex Spending cards are accepted at time of session. Personal check is accepted.

Fees

  • $50 for a 50 minute individual sessions
  • $75 for a family, couples or group 1 hour consultation

Scheduling

In general, weekly appointments are held as standing appointments with adjustments made when communicated. Every effort is made to reschedule missed appointments. Flexibility in scheduling available on a per need basis.
